The Crestwood Wind Ensemble is the premiere concert performing group at Crestwood High School. The ensemble performs some of the most advanced literature for wind band. The ensemble  is selected each year by audition with and instrumentation of around fifty members. The ensemble comprises the most outstanding instrumental musicians at Crestwood High School. While students must already possess a high degree of ability, the further advancement of musical skills, both individual and ensemble will be paramount to the success of the student and the band organization. The Crestwood Wind Ensemble has a long tradition of musical excellence. Most consistently performs in OMEA District and State Adjudicated Event and earns the highest rating of Superior. In 2008 the Band shared the stage with the Kent State Wind Ensemble. In January 2009 was selected to perform at Severance Hall, home of the Cleveland Orchestra. In the Spring of 2010 the Wind Ensemble performed at the Kennedy Center for the International Wind Band Festival.
