Congratulations 7th & 8th Grade Bands!

The Crestwood 7th & 8th Grade Bands performed Friday May 18, 2012 at the OMEA Adjudicated Event held at the University of Akron School of Music. Both Crestwood Bands performed a very musical performance and received the highest rating possible of Superior! Congratulations to all members of the Middle School Bands on the hard work and dedication towards the pursuit of musical excellence. This marks another accomplishment for the very successful band program at Crestwood. The Crestwood local schools and community are very proud of their nationally recognized band program.

Congratulations to Mrs. Guegold on her retirement at the end of the School year from Crestwood Local Schools. Mrs. Guegold has been a true inspiration and very dedicated to the band program over the years. Last week at the MS Band Concert many students, friends, family, and alumni came to honor her on all of her work in music education. She will be definitely missed from the Crestwood Band family but will always call the Crestwood Bands home! We will all miss you a great deal but thank you for everything you have done to inspire music in our hearts and with our children!

Crestwood Bands Annual Mulch Sale
 Crestwood Band Patrons are sponsoring a Mulch Sale on Saturday, May 12, 2012 9AM-5PM. Bags of black hardwood & brown pine are available for 26yd and bags of natural available for 20yd. The mulch sale will take place on Saturday May 12, 2012 Only and will be on a first come first serve basis. Any mulch can be delivered for a $15.00 fee (limited delivery area, one address per order) or after the event for 25.00 fee. Congratulations Wind Ensemble

The Crestwood Wind Ensemble performed Friday April 28, 2012 at the OMEA State Band Adjudicated Event held at North Royalton High School The Crestwood Wind Ensemble performed a very musical performance and received a excellent rating from a very difficult panel of adjudicators. This marks the second consecutive year the band has competed at the Class A level at the state band event. Of all the bands competing in Class A & AA only three bands earned a Superior Rating this year. This marks seventh consecutive year that the Crestwood Wind Ensemble has qualified for the state band adjudicated event. This marks another accomplishment for the very successful band program at Crestwood High School. The Crestwood local schools and community are very proud of their nationally recognized band program.

2012 CSG Percussion & Guard Clinics

Anyone who is interested in being a member of the 2012 CSG Colorguard or Percussion Sections is invited to attend the open clinics held at Crestwood High School. If you are a current member attending CHS you are encouraged to attend. The Crestwood Colorguard will be open to any member of the high school in 2012-2013 and does not have to be a current member of the band program. We are looking for energetic and hardworking students with a positive attitude to be a part of these sections for the 2012 Season! Attendance at these clinics is paramount to learn and prepare effectively to audition for these sections.
